Through serving as an educator for 16 years, research and experience have been the best teacher. Being a profoundly involved learner in enhancing the art of education, the combined experience of instructional and leadership skills has provided opportunities to generate visions, create plans, and carry out action steps to reach desired results. There is an extreme eagerness to collaborate with and serve others for the betterment of our students. Immersed in the never-ending quest to learn, know, and improve, the continuous promotion of an educational philosophy that centers on students receiving purposeful instruction remains the solution to closing the achievement gap. Focusing on the balanced literacy framework to assist students with academic achievement and providing constructive feedback to help teachers with professional growth will lead to excellence.
