ROUND 2 Admissions Open March 11 - choose.dallasisd.org

This year, we'll be conducting a Round 2 Admissions process for 6th Grade. For consideration, please follow the directions below:

1. Complete (or resubmit) an application at choose.dallasisd.org
2. Ensure your student has at least a 40th percentile score on MAP or STAAR testing in both Reading & Math.
3. Ensure your student has at least a 70 GPA across all subjects.
4. Submit a valid form for Proof of Residence (a recent water, electricity, or gas bill, or an active lease or mortgage statement).
5. Once your student's application is reviewed for accuracy and minimum qualifications, Longfellow will send an invitation for your student to complete a video interview.
6. When all 5 steps above are completed, we will score your student's application to determine whether they are eligible for admission on 3 categories:
   1. Standardized Test Score (MAP BOY 2022, if not available STAAR Spring 2022)
   2. GPA on Most Recent Report Card
   3. Video Interview
7. If your student receives a qualifying score of a 70 or higher, they will be offered admission to Longfellow's 6th Grade Class.
8. We will continue to offer admissions to qualifying students until we no longer have seats available. At this time, Round 2 will close.
