Lamb is in his first year with Dallas ISD as the department's first athletics communications coordinator after serving various college athletics departments and a professional sports organization. He has more than 20 years communications experience in positions at Ohio State, Clemson, Rice, UTSA, the Southland Conference, and the Texas Rangers.
Lamb holds more than 27 years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, content management, public relations, media relations, and social media.
Lamb came to Dallas ISD after serving as a marketing and communications consultant, helping organizations increase revenue, awareness and engagement by delivering memorable content to their targeted audiences by creatively telling their brand story.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Lamb graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, and originally attended Baylor University before transferring to The Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Lamb is a member of the College Sports Information Directors and is a past president of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
