Lamb is in his second year with Dallas ISD as the department's first athletics communications coordinator after serving various college athletics departments and a professional sports organization. His communications experience includes positions at Ohio State, Clemson, Rice, UTSA, the Southland Conference, and the Texas Rangers.
Lamb holds more than 28 years of experience in communication, public relations, media relations, branding, marketing, content management, and social media.
Lamb came to Dallas ISD after serving as a marketing communications consultant, helping organizations increase revenue, awareness and engagement by delivering memorable content to their targeted audiences by creatively telling their brand story.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Lamb graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, and originally attended Baylor University before transferring to The Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on public relations.
Lamb is a member of the Texas Schools Public Relations Association (TSPRA), the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA), the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), and is a past president of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
Lamb and his wife Melissa live in Allen, Texas. Their son is a junior at Allen High School.
