Todd Lamb is in his third year with Dallas ISD as the department's first athletics communications coordinator in March 2021 after serving various college athletics departments and a professional sports organization. Lamb holds more than 29 years of experience in communication, public relations, media relations, branding, marketing, content management, and social media.
His communications experience includes positions at The Ohio State University, Clemson University, Rice University, UTSA, the Southland Conference, and the Texas Rangers. Lamb came to Dallas ISD after serving as a marketing communications consultant for various companies and organizations.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Lamb graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, and originally attended Baylor University before transferring to Ohio State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on public relations.
Lamb is a member of the Texas Schools Public Relations Association (TSPRA), the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA), the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), and is a past president of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). He completed the THSADA Aspiring Athletic Administrators Academy in 2023.
Lamb and his wife Melissa live in Allen, Texas. Their son is a senior at Allen High School, where he is a member of the football team.
