W.E. Greiner Principal, Mr. Garcia!

Mr. Geovany Garcia is from Irving, Texas and graduated from Irving High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mr. Garcia began his teaching career in the Dallas Independent School District at Thomas A. Edison Middle School as a social studies teacher. He then transitioned to the Arlington Independent School District, where he served as a social studies teacher for four years. Mr. Garcia has served as an assistant principal in Irving ISD, at a Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy in Arlington ISD, and most recently at Sunset High School in Dallas ISD.

Mr. Garcia is proudly married to Mitty and they have a lovely dog named Messi!
