Letter of Intent to Hire
Learn Local. Teach Local. Change Lives.
After completing their first year of P-TECH, every Teacher Education Pathway student receives an official Letter of Intent (Early Contract) to hire from Dallas ISD Human Capital Management. After completing their Bachelor’s degree and certification, students have a guaranteed job offer to teach back home in Dallas ISD, earning at least $61K in starting salary, $3,000 New Teacher Hiring Incentive, Critical Shortage Area Incentives, $5,000 SPED-Self-Contained incentive along with benefits.
