     Eladio R. Martinez Learning Center is receiving $8.5 million in additions and renovations to its West Dallas campus. The scope of work includes:

    Proposed Addition:

    Secured front entry vestibule

    • Prominent main entrance doors
    • Increased Security
    • Visitor access control

    Reception & Waiting area

    • New front desk & waiting space
    • Second layer of access control
    • New Restroom

    Staff Breakroom

    • Dedicated staff space
    • Increased staff collaboration
    • New Restroom

    Covered Walkways (Alternate)

    • Sheltered access for students & staff during drop-off/ pickup

     

    Interior renovations:

    HVAC replacement & upgrades:

    • New boiler; new piping
    • New chillers; new AHUs

    Plumbing upgrades:

    • New domestic water piping
    • Update gas lines

    Electrical upgrades:

    • New LED lighting – entire school
    • Update lighting controls

    Life Safety upgrades:

    • New Fire alarm system– entire school

    Security system upgrades:

    • New Access Control
    • Add surveillance cameras

    Exterior Improvements:

    Site Improvements:

    • Parking lot replacement
    • Sidewalk replacement

    Marquee sign:

    • Replace pole sign with new Electronic LED Marquee sign

    Lighting upgrades:

    • Exterior lighting replacement

    Security system upgrades:

    • New exterior Access Control
    • Add surveillance cameras

    Play area:

    • Basketball court replacement
