    My name is Beverly Mullins Ford and I am excited to serve you as the principal of Anne Frank Elementary! Thank you for allowing your child to be part of the Anne Frank family.

    A little bit about myself – I have spent 35 years in education, nineteen of those years as the assistant principal here, at Anne Frank. I began my career teaching science at Cary Middle School, then on to Yvonne Ewell Townview Magnet Center.

    I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce you to three assistant principals – Mr. Moises Mercado, Ms. Dionnie Jackson, and Mr. Adolfo Olivares, who will serve the Anne Frank family. Your assistant principals have over 20 combined years of experience in education. We are proud to be of service to you this year as your administrative team.

    We will continue our mission to “Erasing the Achievement and Opportunity GAP for all students in our school and community”. Our mission serves as a constant reminder to care for and erase the opportunity and achievement gap for all students. While we work to erase this gap, we will focus our attention on the importance of educating students for success in a global and diverse society by providing rigorous and relevant academic experiences.

    We have set high expectations for both staff and students. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to prepare engaging lessons for your children, and I am so thankful to have such an awesome staff.

    I look forward to this year and having the opportunity to continue building relationships with you and your children.
