Herschel Carter II, a proud graduate of Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science and Southern Methodist University with a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, currently serves as the inspirational principal of Thomas C. Marsh Preparatory Academy and boasts a remarkable fourteen-year tenure with Dallas ISD. An accomplished alum of Executive Ed Teams cohort 2, Teaching Trust Ed Fellows cohort 3, and the Teaching Trust Aspiring Leadership Program. His outstanding leadership was further recognized in 2024 when he was named the Dallas ISD Region III Principal of the Year.
