www.dallasisd.org/careerinstitutesThe vision of the Dallas ISD Career Institutes is to provide high school students a choice to pursue a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway, work with industry partners, train on state-of-the-art, industry-standard equipment, obtain four or more certifications, and obtain dual credit when appropriate, prior to graduation. A Career Institute will prepare students for high skill, high wage, and high demand occupations. The former Walnut Hill Elementary School is receiving $80 million in renovations and additions to transform the campus into a state-of-the-art career institute supporting support the following high schools: Conrad High School; Hillcrest High School; North Dallas High School; Thomas Jefferson High School; and W.T. White High School.
