Dallas ISD's Library Redesign Initiative
Project READ is Dallas ISD's library redesign initiative. This redesign incorporates 4 different zones (Research, Exploration, Application, and Design) that utilize the library space to expand students' interests into the arts and design, deepen their knowledge of coding, hone their speaking and presentation skills using digital broadcasts, or increase their critical thinking skills through research and collaboration.
Project READ is NOT replacing libraries, but rather enhancing the services and experiences offered. Storytime, information literacy skills, book fairs, reading events, and library as you know, and love is NOT going away!
