Beginning of the Year-Official Notice/General Attendance Agreement Pledge
The General Attendance Agreement (GAAP) Pledge will be distributed to all parents at the beginning of the school year and it outlines the district’s expectations for attendance. It is also an attendance improvement plan that is activated when a student misses school, without excuse, 3 days or parts of days in a four-week period.
Campus Recommendations for Distributing Beginning of the Year Notice and GAAP:
- Upload Notices and GAAP to school website
- Notify parents via email
- Designate a location for parents to have access to Beginning of the Year Notices and GAAP
- Utilize School Messenger to remind families
