David McKamie

Mr. McKamie has been teaching in Dallas ISD since 2014, and had spent all of that team teaching at Tom Gooch Elementary.  After graduating college in 2011 he worked as a substitute, and a TA, in elementary, middle, and high school.  He has taught PK, K, 4th, and 5th grades at Gooch, and is super excited to be moving to 3rd grade.  He believes that a true leader leads by example, rather than just delegating everything.  Mr. McKamie’s goal in the classroom is to ensure not only a safe learning environment, but an environment where students feel free to be themselves.
