PRIMARY: KINDERGARTEN

The assessment is a series of tasks designed to identify the applicant's readiness and potential. 

The tasks for Kinder include: 

Sound/Letter recognition

Counting 1-10

Identifying numbers 1-10

Identifying colors, shapes

Identifying name

Writing name

Drawing a person

Tracing a shape and adding interior lines

Grasping pencil, scissors

Cutting

Rug rolling (after being modeled)

Following a lesson 

In addition to completing the tasks, the applicants will receive an observation score based on ability to:

Separate from adults,

work with others,

cooperate,

self manage,

and follow directions.
