• Lost, Damaged, and Stolen Devices must be recorded in TIPWeb-IT before a replacement device can be issued.

Lost Devices (Student, Parent, or Staff Member reports they cannot locate a device)

    1. Mark the device as Lost in TIPWeb-IT.  You can then submit a request for a replacement device if needed.
    2. Submit a ticket in the Support Hub indicating the device is Lost (with serial numbers) so they can lock the device.
    3. Allow 2 days to see if the device is located on your campus or by another user since once the device will be locked (they will not be able to use the device).
    4. If the device is not located, the campus must report the Lost device to Dallas ISD Dispatch.  They should assign an officer to complete the Missing Property Report.  Only the campus should report the device so Dallas ISD Police will have the necessary information.
    5. If a police report is filed, record the police report information in TIPWeb-IT.
    6. If a student has had two devices assigned previously, the student does not take any other devices from the campus.  They must use a loaned device.

Stolen Devices (Student, Parent, or Staff Member reports that a device was stolen from their possession, vehicle, or residence)

    2. Submit a ticket in the Support Hub indicating the device was Stolen (with serial numbers) so they can lock the device.
