  • Ms. Aldridge began her career in Dallas Independent School District right out of college. She started teaching 3rd grade at John J. Pershing Elementary. She has worked for several elementary schools around the area but has been here at Herbert Marcus teaching Gifted and Talented students for 13 years. Working and advocating for our gifted students is her passion.

During her tenure at Marcus, Ms. Aldridge has worn many hats. She has served as Team Leader for multiple years, Testing Coordinator, Student Activities Coordinator, 504 Coordinator, UIL Coach, Garden Club, Student Leadership Sponsor and many other campus leadership roles. Most recently, she was part of the Leader In Me Lighthouse committee, assisted in the inaugural years of the House System, and was part of the team that applied for and won the OTI "School of Choice" distinction in Leadership Innovation. She is now the Lighthouse Coordinator for Marcus.

Her mission is to continue to advocate for our gifted learners and support teachers to the best of her ability. She will also continue to lead our campus to national Lighthouse distinction through the Leader in Me program.
