Our Story

Biomedical Preparatory at UTSW opened in August 2022 as the district's first PK-8th campus, focusing on Biomedical Science.  

The school became a reality after an extraordinary partnership between Dallas ISD and UTSW.

Designed for academic success in an innovative learning environment, our facility is supplemented with different STEM, instructional technology, Computer Science, and coding experiences for our students.

The school's vision is to create future scientists, innovators, empathetic, and design-thinking professionals equipped with college and career tools to help shape the world's future.

Guided by core values — curiosity, creativity, resilience, empathy, innovation, and leadership—the staff at the Biomedical Preparatory works tirelessly to help our students to become successful global citizens and scientists.
