Student Activities Summer Camp

-
The Student Activities Department has some exciting new options for your students this year. Student Activities will be hosting three camps for elementary students this summer in the month of June, and we would love to see each of your schools represented there.
This will be a fun-filled time for all students involved, learning and developing new/current skills with new friends. Come for camp, stay through lunch, and let our buses drive you to and from your home school.
Below you will find the camps offered and the grade levels each camp can host.
To register, schools must have a designated sponsor in order for students to participate in the Student Activities Summer Camps.
Please contact your campus activity coordinator or principal to learn if your school is participating in the department’s camp programs for elementary students.
Elementary Cheer Camp (2 Days) - June 12-13 or June 20-21
- Grades 4-5 (Current 3-4)
- Cheer will focus on all essential skills needed in leading and supporting the home team. Campers will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements, and jumping techniques along with leadership skills.
Chess Camp (4 Days) - June 26-29
- Grades K-5 (Current PreK-4)
- Whether you’re new to chess or have experience, this camp will offer you the opportunity to LEVEL UP. Based on your skill level, you will be placed in the appropriate group to learn to play, make new friends, and develop your skills.
Esports Camp (3 Days) - June 20-22
- Grades 4-5 (Current 3-4)
- It’s finally here! Elementary students now have the opportunity to learn the importance of team work and have fun, all while in a safe environment. Players will get to focus on health and fitness elements, promoting focus, better cognitive ability, techniques for individual skills development, and fundamentals for team play.
If you have any questions regarding any of the summer camps, please feel free to reach out. We are excited and cannot wait to see your students there!
