    What will I learn? 

    Students will have an opportunity to earn an associates degree in Science in Early Childhood. ​​​This degree will begin equipping you for a career in education — whether your goal is to teach our earliest learners in early childhood centers or students in PK-12 public schools.

    The Teacher Education Programs offered at Dallas College and University of North Texas at Dallas prepares students for careers in education and prepares them to serve culturally diverse communities. After meeting all the prerequisites after receiving your bachelors degree, you have the unique opportunity to return to Dallas Independent School District to begin your teaching degree.  Our students are offered a Letter of Intent in their 10th grade year guaranteeing a teaching career after receiving their bachelor's degree and passing their comprehensive exams.
