Enrollment Process for Expectant Mothers and Teen Mothers

1st Step:  Return to your home campus and speak with the following people.

• School Counselor

  The school counselor will discuss the Maya Angelou program and discuss the course choice sheet and Career Institute East choice sheet with the student.

• School Nurse

  The school nurse will provide the different options that may be utilized for proof of pregnancy.

• School CRC

  The school CRC will withdraw the student and provide the necessary paperwork to take with them to enroll at Maya Angelou.

2nd Step:  Schedule a date and time enrollment visit at Maya Angelou with Maya Angelou Coordinator.

3rd Step:   Visit Maya Angelou at the scheduled date and time and meet with the following people.

• School CRC

  Meet with the CRC and bring your withdrawal form, class schedule, proof of pregnancy, and transcript.

• School Coordinator

  Bring your withdrawal form, class schedule, proof of pregnancy, and transcript.

• Erica Delgado

  Bring any specific questions that you may have so that they can be answered regarding Maya Angelou and the new program enhancements.

Maya Angelou High School 2022-23 Program Enrollment

Maya Angelou High School and all home campuses will be closed for enrollment June 13th – July 29th.

Maya Angelou High School will begin enrollment on Monday, August 1st.
