Dear iLearn Virtual Academy Community,
I am honored to serve as the 3-5 generalist teacher. I am eager to continue to serve
the students of Dallas and look forward to having your child back in school. I look
forward to working with our child(ren) and continuing the outstanding work in Dallas
ISD.
This will be my 6th year teaching and 11th year in education. I earned my bachelor’s
degree in interdisciplinary studies and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction
from The University of North Texas at Dallas.
With the support of the community and staff, I will always strive to provide a safe place
for your child(ren) with an atmosphere of high expectations and genuine care. Together
we will continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities and academic
excellence for all of our students.
As a parent of 2 children who are on various levels of education, I believe in open
communication and a strong home-to-school connection. Please feel free to contact me
with any celebrations, questions, or concerns that you may have. It is exciting to think
about all that we will achieve working together in our new normal. Let’s make this year
great!
