    Crystal Cavitt

    Crystal Cavitt has served in education for 16 years and the last three in the Dallas ISD community as an Assistant Principal. She received her undergraduate degree in Education specializing in Kinesiology from Prairie View A&M University as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. Mrs. Cavitt is a member of the Association of Hispanic School Administrators and Dallas School Administrators Association where she collaborates with other leaders from the Metroplex to champion student success. Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and social-emotional well-being.

     

    Mrs. Cavitt believes in always putting students first, modeling high expectations, making data-driven decisions, and empowering students to become innovative citizens, all while developing nurturing relationships with both teachers and students. It is her passion to ensure every student reaches their highest potential. 

     

    In her personal life, her husband, David, is a coach in the local area and they have four children; Ciara, Cheyann, Dean, and Celeste. She loves Jack Lowe so much that her own child comes to school with her and is in the third grade! During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, go to events for her kids, and travel the world.
