Hello! My name is Luz Leguizamo and I’m so happy to join Hexter Elementary as an Inclusion Teacher Assistant.

I’ve been an Inclusion TA for the last nine years with DISD. I’m originally from Mexico but grew up in East Dallas. I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended UNT and UTA.

I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and gardening.

My goal is for every student to feel loved, important, and included in every classroom.

I’m so excited for each student to reach and exceed their potential this school year.
