    7th/8th ELAR and 8th Social Studies

    As of the 22-23 school year, I have been teaching 18 years. I have taught all the grades from 2nd-8th, except 3rd grade (I also taught 9th grade English).I am certified to teach every middle school subject, including math and science. I am a certified reading specialist and Master Reading Teacher for grades EC-12.  My core responsibilities are Honors ELAR 7 and 8 as well as U S Studies.  I also sponsor Middle School Destination Imagination and UIL.

    Tips for success:

    • Invest in a planner to keep up with all due dates and projects

    • Keep general supplies at home for homework and projects

    • Contact teachers with concerns about grades or behavior
