Ms. Jaime Calvillo

My name is Jaime Calvillo and I am thrilled to be in my second year as Dance Director at TC Marsh.  This is my 14th year in education and my 6th year as a dance teacher in DallasISD, including four years at W.T. White High School. I have over 20 years experience teaching dance in studios and public education.  I attended Purdue University in Indiana and was a four-year member of the Golduster Dance Team.  As a Golduster, I performed at the Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl game.  As a dancer, I have performed at athletic events and theme parks, as well as dance competitions, across the country.  My favorite genre of dance is tap and I look forward to sharing my passion for dance with each student.  As a dance educator, I strive to create an inclusive classroom where all students feel brave and safe to dance, create and share their joys and passions.
