    Acceptable Reasons to Visit the Library

     

    • Check-out or return library books
    • Browse the library collection 
    • Borrow or return a student Chromebook, if one is available (the library has a limited amount)
    • Borrow any other piece of technology 
    • Complete any classwork, homework, projects, or study
    • Use the Student Resource Center for supplies and activities
    • Print items for a class project or assignment- Share documents to monvega@dallasisd.org 
    • Read quietly or listen to an e-audiobook (headphones must be worn if listening to an audiobook)
    • Ask for help with a Chromebook or laptop problem
    • Help with resetting a password
    • Finish or complete a test
    • Complete a makerspace activity (only on select days)
    • Contribute to the Community Puzzle

     

    If a student is NOT visiting the library for ANY of the reasons listed above, then they will be asked to leave the library. The library is a safe, welcoming space for all students to learn, study, and collaborate peacefully. ANY student interfering with those expectations will be asked to leave the library and will NOT be permitted to return.
