    Lifetime Achievement Celebration

In 2023, employees with at least 35 years of service in Dallas ISD will be invited to the Lifetime Achievement Celebration to celebrate their milestones in Dallas ISD.

    Teacher of Promise Award *new*

In recognition of early career teachers, Dallas ISD has launched the Teacher of Promise Award for the 2022-2023 school year. Teachers of Promise are novice teachers within their first three creditable years of service who excel in the classroom and community. Teachers of Promise will be honored on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Campus Teacher of the Year Award

Every year, Dallas ISD celebrates teaching excellence by recognizing outstanding educators who are making a difference in the lives of students every day. All Dallas ISD schools have the opportunity to award one teacher from their campus as the Campus Teacher of the Year. These valuable teachers are dedicated to their students, school, and Dallas ISD. Campus Teachers of the Year will be honored on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Check out the story in The Hub to hear more about our 22-23 Campus Teachers of the Year!

    Employee Engagement Opportunities

In the Fall of 2022, the Onboarding and Retention Team hosted a Mentor/Mixer Mixer at Dave and Buster's where new teachers were able to network with content departments, gain valuable educational resources, and unwind with their mentor teacher.

Dallas ISD is striving to create more networking and professional development opportunities for teachers new to the district. Please check back for more employee engagement events in the spring.
