Travis TAG PTA
  • The Travis TAG PTA consists of families, faculty, staff, and community members who are committed to supporting the school and students through roles including volunteering, fundraising, event planning, community outreach, parent education, teacher appreciation, providing enrichment programs for students, and welcoming prospective students.

This year our goal is for every student to join the PTA. Whether a student, parent, member of the faculty and staff, or a community member, your membership will impact the future of each student at William B Travis TAG. Each membership in the Travis TAG PTA includes membership in the Texas PTA and the National PTA. #YouCanPTA

PTA memberships are valid from August 1st through July 31.

Travis TAG High School Night
Travis TAG High School Night
  • Travis TAG High School Night

    Audience: 6th - 8th grade students

High School Night is an annual event organized by the Travis TAG PTA with support from our Travis TAG counselor. The purpose of this event is for our students and their families to learn more about the many Dallas ISD high school options and programs. This event consists of different Dallas ISD high schools presenting their program and application process. There is a general session at the beginning in the auditorium (this includes a 1 minute elevator-pitch-style presentation from each school), followed by three presentation opportunities in breakout sessions around the school. Students select which three sessions they'll attend.

We encourage all middle school students and their families to attend!

Travis TAG Fall Festival
  • Travis TAG students and their family and friends are in for a crazy, fun night of carnival rides, games, food, music, karaoke, a cake walk, a haunted hallway and more! An annual tradition, the Travis TAG PTA proudly hosts our Travis Fall Festival, attracting more than 400 families who gather in the campus grounds to enjoy the festivities, celebrate our family spirit, and engage in playful learning activities.
