Primary Functions:

    The PSO Compliance Function partners with District administration to develop a comprehensive compliance program that:

    Identifies and evaluates compliance risks critical to the District.

    Ensures critical compliance risks are properly managed by the appropriate individuals and

    Provides assurances to District administration regarding the status of critical institutional risks.


    The PSO Compliance Function reviews to ensure District processes operate in compliance with relevant guidelines. Compliance reviews are received as follows:

    Part of a continual risk assessment performed by PSO-CF

    Requests from District administration or the Board of Trustees; or

    Requests from outside authoritative bodies (ie., Texas Education Administration


    The PSO Compliance Function coordinates efforts with the DISD Office of Internal Audit when appropriate.
