    Central Stadiums with Video Boards

Dallas ISD boasts four community stadiums featuring state of the art video boards. The stadiums host 22 high schools and 31 middle schools all committed to educational excellence and athletic achievement.

Dallas ISD has video boards at four of its nine stadiums in different parts of Dallas: north, central, east, and south. Dallas ISD teams can participate in events at any of the stadiums and may be the home or even the visiting team if they are playing another Dallas ISD team.

    Department Philosophy

Dallas ISD Athletics is committed to excellence in academics and athletics. We are dedicated to the student-athlete experience, aiming to instill honor and integrity, adhere to the rules of competition and sportsmanship, and produce champions in sports and in life.

Our mission supports the overall mission of Dallas ISD to educate all students for success while seeking to become a premier urban school district.

Our No. 1 focus is to create positive experiences for our students in athletics.

We believe that athletics can be a major part of students’ overall physical, mental, and emotional development in their education process.

We know that student-athletes generally are in class more and out-perform their peers in the classroom and on standardized tests.

Sound athletic programs provide valuable lessons that help student athletes learn to make strong choices and develop strong habits. The daily influential power of a positive coach can be life changing. Student athletes experience daily victories discovering within themselves the ability to overcome adversity, to develop leadership skills, to develop winning attitudes, to be hard workers, and to be part of a team that requires sacrifice and service to others.

The Dallas ISD Department of Athletics is committed to excellence and the development and success of our students through competitive education-based athletics.
