Dallas ISD Facility Rental Procedures
Dallas ISD uses an online system named SchoolSpace to process facility rental requests. The system allows the entire rental process to be conducted online: from the submission of rental requests, to their approval, and even the payment of rental fees.
If this is your first time using the online system, you will need to register by visiting www.dallasisd.org/rentals. The “Register” link is located on the upper right hand corner of the homepage. The registration process will prompt you to create a password.
If you are already registered, simply use the “Sign In” link on the upper right hand corner of the homepage to access your account. If you forget your password you can reset it using the “Sign In” link. For a quick tutorial of how to register for a rental account, click Rental Account Registration.
Once you are registered and signed in, you can search for a specific school and/or facility you would like to rent by clicking the “Find a Space” link in the upper right hand corner of the homepage. You can also search for a school within a specific area by using the interactive map located on the home page. When you have found the facility you would like to rent, click the “Request Facility Use” link to access the application form. If this is your first time using the system, we recommend you click the “Start Page Tour” on the bottom right hand corner of the application form. Please note that rental requests must be submitted at least fifteen (15) district business days in advance of the date of request. Requests cannot be submitted more than six (6) months in advance of the date of request.
