May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
-
In 1990, Congress designated the entire month of May as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
This month, Dallas ISD is providing a series of highly engaging programs and activities centered around the celebration, empowerment, remembrance, and appreciation of our students' cultural heritages.
While the programming will be highlighted in May, the REO encourages schools to use these resources to augment lessons and spark discussions year-round.
