Accessibility Statement
We want everyone who visits the Dallas ISD website and our campus websites to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make our websites a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Your School website.
We have installed the AudioEye toolbar on our district and campus sites, which includes screen reading technology and customization options so that you can personalize your website experience based on your needs.
Please note that, like all things on the Internet, our website is a work in progress, and we are doing our best to ensure all photos and videos have the necessary ALT text and captions to provide the best possible experience to our users.
How are we doing?
We've worked hard on the Dallas ISD and campus websites and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the websites regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
Let us know what you think
