Lance Currie is a product of Texas public schools and comes from a family of educators. Lance is a proud parent of two amazing children who attend schools in Dallas ISD schools. He volunteers weekly as a Reading Partners North Texas tutor.
Lance served as chair of the board at Reading Partners of North Texas and Educate Dallas. At George Bannerman Dealey Montessori School, Lance was chair of the Site-Based Decision Making Committee and president of Dad’s Club. He also served as an advisory board appointee for Dallas ISD’s Racial Equity Office.
Lance graduated from Leadership ISD in 2018 and he was one of five advisors to the class of 2019. He also was recognized by Dallas Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 Award honoree. Lance graduated from Baylor University before attending law school at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2009, he joined his law firm, Carrington Coleman. As a partner, he represents owners, developers, and public entities on construction and real estate projects.
