Dallas ISD Residency Program
Dallas ISD Residency Program
Dallas Independent School District aims to increase the presence of Latino and Black male educators into the classroom. For this, we are pleased to announce the implementation of cohorts for the Dallas ISD Latino and Black Male Residency Program. Human Capital Management, in partnership with School Leadership, Teaching and Learning, and Racial Equity Office, look forward to continue the Residency model designed to improve student outcomes. The Dallas ISD Teacher Residency Program will allow for our Hispanic and African-American students to have access to effective and diverse teachers that match their ethnic background, creating an education system that is equitable across our classrooms.
If you are a Latino or Black male seeking to make a difference in the lives of students, we welcome you to join our team of diverse teachers, apply HERE for a paid internship and teacher training with alternative certification program fees waived.
