Advanced Academic Scholars Recognition Celebration

Dallas ISD Scholars' qualifications are as follows:
- 7th grade –scored in the 95th percentile on 6th-grade STAAR Reading, 6th-grade STAAR Math, Spring i-Ready Reading, Spring i-Ready Math, Fall i-Ready Reading, or Fall i-Ready Math
- 8th grade –scored in the 95th percentile on 7th-grade STAAR Reading, 7th-grade STAAR Math, 8th-grade STAAR Math, 7th-grade Algebra I End-of-Course, 7th-grade English I End-of-Course, Winter/Spring i-Ready Reading or Winter/Spring i-Ready Math
- 9th grade –scored in the 95th percentile on 8th-grade STAAR Reading, 8th-grade STAAR Math, 8th-grade STAAR Science, 8th-grade STAAR Social Studies, Winter/Spring i-Ready Reading, Winter/Spring i-Ready Math, 8th-grade English I End-of-Course, or 8th-grade STAAR Algebra I End-of-Course
- 10th grade -scored at the college readiness level on PSAT/NMSQT or scored in the 95th percentile on 9th grade STAAR Algebra I End-of-Course, 9th STAAR English I End-of-Course, Winter/Spring i-Ready Reading, or Winter/Spring i-Ready Math
- 11th grade -scored at the college readiness level on PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, or scored in the 95th percentile on 10th grade STAAR English II End-of-Course, Winter/Spring i-Ready Reading, or Winter/Spring i-Ready Math
- 12th grade - scored at the college readiness level on SAT, Winter/Spring i-Ready Reading, or Winter/Spring i-Ready Math

College Board's National Recognition Program is designed to shine a light on high-achieving students nationwide across all backgrounds. By claiming a National Recognition Program award(s), eligible students have a tangible way to stand out to colleges and celebrate their academic achievements with their communities.
Eligibility requirements for the National Recognition Program:

Score in the top 10% of PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 test takers in their high school, state's first generation test takers, and/or state's rural and small town test takers. OR Earn a 3+ on 2 or more distinct AP exams in the 8th, 9th and/or 10th grade.

Earn a cumulative GPA of B+ (at least 3.3 or 87%-89%) by the time of submission.
