Giving Students Voice and Support

AP Ambassadors is a student-led group. Its goal is to help diversify the AP program by giving students information, leadership opportunities, and a sense of community

The AP Ally is the campus sponsor who will support the AP Ambassador program and be an integral part of helping students.   Responsibilities of the AP Ally are;

  • Identify and organize speaking opportunities for Ambassadors

  • Engage Ambassadors in identifying campus activities they want to lead

  • Assist Ambassadors with talking points and visuals for presentations

AP Ambassadors are AP students who will be the driving force of the student arm of the AP Program at your campus.  Ambassadors work together with the AP Ally to help encourage participation in AP by all students at all levels.

  • Recruit a minimum of 10 ambassadors
  • Support struggling students
  • Stage events (parent nights, etc.)
  • Community events for outreach
  • Encourage registration/exam participation
