Lakeisha Williams
Ms. LaKeisha Williams has dedicated 15 years to the field of education, beginning with 2 years at O. W. Holmes Middle School and continuing for 6 years as a teacher and AVID Coordinator at New Tech High School. Effective July 2024, she will assume the role of AVID District Coordinator for Dallas ISD, furthering her impact on educational practices district-wide.
Ms. Williams holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University. She is actively involved in community service as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Dallas Chapter.
With 9 years of experience in implementing AVID methodologies and strategies, Ms. Williams is recognized for her advocacy and commitment to empowering others. She takes pride in cultivating enduring relationships with her scholars, parents, community partners, and administration. Her passion lies in motivating all scholars to strive for their highest potential, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.
