Todd Lamb is in his fourth year with Dallas ISD Athletics, but is in his first year as the assistant director of athletics for communication and engagement.
In addition to his responsibilities with communication, media relations, branding, marketing, and content management, he now leads the department’s sponsorship program and is charged with enhancing the in-venue fan experience using the districts video boards. He also is creating ways to showcase the district’s athletic teams, personnel, and initiatives, through live streaming, podcasting and other emerging technologies. He continues to oversee the Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame.
Lamb joined Dallas ISD Athletics in March 2021 after serving various college athletics departments and a professional sports organization. Lamb holds more than 30 years of experience in communication, public relations, media relations, branding, marketing, content management, and social media.
Lamb’s experience includes positions at The Ohio State University, Clemson University, Rice University, UTSA, the Southland Conference, and the Texas Rangers. He came to Dallas ISD after serving as a marketing and communication consultant for various companies and organizations.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Lamb graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, and originally attended Baylor University before transferring to Ohio State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus in public relations.
Lamb is a member of the Texas Schools Public Relations Association (TSPRA), the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA), the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA), the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), and is a past president of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). He completed the THSADA Aspiring Athletic Administrators Academy in 2023.
Lamb and his wife Melissa live in Allen, Texas. Their son Brady is a student at the University of Arkansas.
