Amii Johnson

Qualifications: MS, LAT
Amii is originally from Vicksburg, Mississippi, and brings nearly two decades of experience to Dallas ISD’s Sports Medicine team. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Alcorn State University, an M.S. in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from the University of Arkansas, and most recently an A.A. in Creative Arts, Entertainment & Design from Dallas College.
Amii began her Dallas ISD career as a biology teacher in 2022 and returned to her passion for athletic training in the spring of 2024 at Wilmer-Hutchins High School. She has successfully led athletic training programs at both the high school and collegiate levels, with a strong focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and hands-on student learning. She is excited to enter her second year serving the talented student-athletes of WHHS.
Outside of her professional life, Amii enjoys traveling, tackling DIY projects, woodworking, and playing softball. Fun fact: she’s a fraternal twin and a former Division I collegiate softball player.
