J.J. is a proud Memphis native and the middle child of five siblings. His journey in sports led him to Southern Arkansas University, where he played collegiate football, joined Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and Master’s degree in Kinesiology. These accomplishments have paved the way for a fulfilling career in healthcare.
J.J. began his career as a certified athletic trainer in 2015. He is BOC certified and licensed in Texas, dedicating his career to helping athletes stay healthy, recover stronger, and perform at their best.
Beyond the sidelines, he is the founder of Time2HOP (Time To Help Other People), a brand committed to guiding athletes in finding their purpose beyond sports. Whether transitioning out of athletics, seeking new directions, or rediscovering their “why,” J.J. and Time2HOP offer support and community.
