Taylor Hanes

Qualifications: LAT
Taylor is a licensed athletic trainer with 15 years of experience, including the past 13 years serving student athletes in the high school setting. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas in 2009 and has dedicated her career to helping athletes recover, perform at their best, and thrive both on and off the field.
Coach Hanes approaches athletic training as both a profession and a calling. Her Christian faith serves as the foundation for how she cares for others, encouraging her to lead with compassion, integrity, and a servant's heart each day. She strives to make every athlete feel seen, supported, and valued, while fostering an environment where trust and genuine relationships can grow.
She believes athletic training is about much more than treating injuries. Building strong relationships with athletes and their families is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career, and she values open communication and partnership throughout the rehabilitation process. She is also a strong advocate for keeping injured athletes involved with their teams whenever possible, recognizing the important role that connection, purpose, and belonging play in an athlete's mental and emotional well-being during recovery.
Outside of work, Coach Hanes is the proud mom of three boys and enjoys spending time with her family and her two energetic Dalmatians. She also enjoys supporting her boyfriend, Stanton, who is in his final year of medical school at TCU and is pursuing a career in cardiology. Whether she's on the sidelines, at home with her family, Taylor is passionate about investing in others and helping young people grow in confidence, resilience, and character.
