Demographic Studies is responsible for analyzing trends in Dallas ISD student demographics and regional population demographics, using the Dallas ISD student database, census data, facilities data, and geographic information. Products include enrollment projections; design of attendance zones; district maps; and districtwide collaboration regarding new schools, sizes of additions, feeder patterns, and grade reconfigurations. Requests for analysis based on geography (attendance zones, zip codes, cities, divisions, trustee districts) can be fulfilled by the Demographic Studies department. To request demographics data not available on this website, please submit a Public Information Request.
