Vision

To be an energy efficient and sustainable school district committed to reducing our impact on the environment.

Mission

To provide leadership and expertise in energy and utility management; to collaborate with our stakeholders to increase our waste diversion rate; and to ensure that our limited resources are used efficiently and effectively.

Goal

The Energy & Sustainability Department reduces cost through creative problem solving. We implement strategic initiatives to conserve energy, foster sustainable habits, and enhance the learning environment. Our goal is to connect our students and staff with the environmental community to promote an exchange of ideas that empower learners to make sustainable decisions.

Utilities Report

Electricity costs are the vast majority of the district’s expenditures. Therefore cutting back on electric usage can have the most significant impact.
