Summer Learning

Get ready for a summer of discovery, growth, and fun with Summer Breeze 2025! Summer Breeze is the collective of all district programs offered during the summer. Designed to accelerate learning while nurturing social and emotional well-being, our dynamic programs offer students engaging, hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and boost academic achievement. The District will host exciting summer learning opportunities in collaboration with community partners at designated campuses and locations.

Once enrollment and registration are complete, mark your calendar and get ready for your child to have a great summer learning experience.

 

 

 

Summer Cool 

Grade Levels: PreK-8 

Summer Cool is designed to meet the needs of the whole child. Students will experience a full day of activities ranging from reading and math content support to exposure to various extracurricular and enrichment activities. Transportation, breakfast, lunch, and participation incentives will be provided to students utilizing the face-to-face learning model.

 

Credit Boost 

Grade Levels: 9-12

The High School Credit Boost program will allow for credit recovery and/or acceleration via the traditional face-to-face environment.

 

EOC Test Prep

Grade Levels: 9-12

The End of Course (EOC) Exams are for students who attempted yet did not successfully meet the state standards on the Texas End of Course Exams.

 

TBAAL Summer Youth Arts Institute

Students Ages 10-18

Over three weeks, students ages 10-18 participate in classes Monday through Friday from 9-5 pm. The program ends with a culminating theatrical performance. Enrollment is free for all current Dallas ISD students. Focus areas include music, dance, theatre, costume design, make-up, lighting, stage management, photography, and film/video.
