Deposit Books should be ordered from Carlton Hobbs in the Treasury Department.

Orders should be placed BEFORE  the use of the last deposit ticket of the deposit book. 

Send an email to cahobbs@dallasisd.org, include the number of the last deposit ticket, and indicate if you are ordering CAF or SAF or both, your full name, employee ID, Campus Name, and Org.

If the Bookkeeper does the day-to-day activities, than the back-up will be responsible for record keeping. 

If there is not a back-up then the Bookkeeper will be responsible for all.

Yes, the copy that goes into your binder should have the principal's wet signature.

Bank statements should be kept in the activity funds binder, however the Excel spreadsheet is no longer needed.

Your Activity Fund Binder should contain all records as outlined in the manual, to include the Cash Receipt Register Report and the Balance Summary Report, and the Bank Statements, all in month order. 

As an arm of the state, Dallas ISD falls under IRS code 170c,  Dallas ISD is not an eligible 501c3. We are a tax exempt entity and are not an eligible 501c3. 

Reports are due by the 10th of each month.

Each report for SAF & CAF must be reviewed & filed in your Activity Funds binder by the 10th of each month.

The way Amazon has the wishlist set up there is no way for the OM or teacher to capture the donation and thanking the donor as required by policy.

DonorsChoose.org is the approved wishlist alternative for teachers to use.

The Wells Fargo CEO website. Bank Statements are usually made available after 1 pm, on the first business day of the month. 

NOTE: Bank Statements are available for 90 days. After that time, you will no longer be able to access previous statements.
