The Dallas ISD Employee Experience team engages team members through a strategic portfolio of support and recognition programs designed to grow and retain our best employees.

SUPPORT PROGRAMS

We support new employees through offering an asynchronous, virtual Orientation for New Employees, an annual multi-day New Teacher Academy, and the Teacher Mentor Program for teachers within their first two years of teaching. We support new and aspiring central staff leaders through the Central Staff Leadership Development program.

RECOGNITION PROGRAMS

Dallas ISD recognizes its employees through a variety of programs and events. The Employee Experience team is responsible for the administration of the Campus and District Teacher of the Year programs and the early-career Teacher of Promise program. We also coordinate the Regional and District Principal of the Year programs and the Vertical Team V.I.P. (Very Influential Principal) awards. Lastly, the EX team facilitates the Dallas ISD Service Recognition Awards which includes awarding a service pin to employees at each five-year milestone and coordinating the annual Salute to Service Lifetime Achievement Awards for employees reaching a 30+ year milestone with the district.
