Welcome to the Dallas Independent School District!
The Employee Experience team engages Dallas ISD team members through two primary focuses: support and recognition.
SUPPORT
We support new employees through offering an asynchronous, virtual Orientation for New Employees, an annual multi-day New Teacher Academy, and the Teacher Mentor Program for teachers within their first two years of teaching. We support new and aspiring central staff leaders through the Central Staff Leadership Development program.
RECOGNITION
Dallas ISD recognizes its employees in many ways. Our team is responsible for the coordination of the (Campus and District) Teacher of the Year process, and Teacher of Promise. We also coordinate the (Regional and District) Principal of the Year, Master Principal, and Vertical Team V.I.P. (Very Influential Principal) awards. Lastly, the Employee Experience team facilitates our District's Service Recognition Awards, including sending service pins to campuses, and coordinating the annual Salute to Service Lifetime Achievement Awards for employees reaching a 30-, 35-, 40-, 45-, 50-, 55-, or 60-year milestone with Dallas ISD.
