In Spring 2025, Dallas ISD added an award for campus-based support personnel named “Aspire.” Annually, campus principals will select one non-exempt campus support team member for the award using the recommended eligibility criteria and guidelines below:  

Eligibility Criteria

• 3 or more years of service in Dallas ISD
• Currently serving in a campus-based, non-exempt position, e.g., office manager, teacher assistant, CRC, community liaison, registrar, clerk, food service assistant, custodian, etc.
• Prior year overall evaluation rating of Proficient, Exceeds Expectations, or Exemplary

Recommended Honoree Characteristics

• Exemplifies the District’s vision, mission, goals, and principles of public service
• Positively contributes to overall campus culture
• Collaborates with colleagues, students, and families to maintain a culture of respect and success
