Orientation for New Employees (O.N.E.)

Soon after your work start date, you will receive an email at your new Dallas ISD email account confirming your assignment to Orientation for New Employees (O.N.E.). This online training will introduce you to the district's culture, core messages, and key initiatives, and you’ll also hear important information about payroll, benefits, expectations, and opportunities for professional development.
All new and returning employees must complete online orientation.
Information about performance expectations and your evaluation is included in your orientation.
- Teaching staff will receive initial Teacher Excellence Initiative (TEI) training.
- Central and non-teaching staff receive Career Management System (CMS) training.
Please complete your online orientation within your first 30 days of employment.

Where to find Orientation for New Employees

Orientation for New Employees is hosted on Cornerstone, Dallas ISD's online Learning Management System (LMS) for employees. You'll find the Cornerstone app on the Dallas ISD Portal, and it is linked here:

Scroll down on your Cornerstone landing page to the "My Assigned Training" section to launch training.

After your first week, if you do not see Orientation for New Employees in your assigned training, please contact the Employee Experience team at onboarding@dallasisd.org. Include your Employee ID number in your email to expedite inquiry.
