The Office of Internal Audit reports to the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees through the Audit Committee. Internal Audit presents completed audit reports, follow-up audits, audit plan progress, and hotline activity to the Audit Committee.

 

Internal Audit's vision is to be a leading internal audit team in K-12 education and the district’s trusted and valued internal resource for assurance, advice, insight, and foresight.

 

Internal Audit's mission is to safeguard and enhance the district's ability to educate for success by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight.
