Crossing Guards

The City of Dallas provides the School Crossing Guard Program which assists unaccompanied elementary students crossing streets near schools within Dallas City limits.  

Dallas ISD Elementary Schools requesting crossing guards should complete the Crossing Guard Request Form and submit it to Dianna Thompson at dithomps@dallasisd.org.

The City of Dallas has 60 days to complete an assessment to determine the placement of a crossing guard and the results will be provided to the requestor.
